1959 Impala Rear Differential Info:
- 1959 Chevy Impalas came with a 8.2" 10 bolt "drop out style" rear axle / differential.
- Ring gear bolts are 3/8 x 24 and there are 10 of them.
- The pinion nut should be 1 1/8"
- The axles are 17 spline and bolt to the axle housing on the ends near the brakes.
